“Irrbloss” degli Yggdrasil è un onesto album di viking metal non molto originale, ma decisamente “sanguigno” e fatto senz’altro bene. Questi svedesi si inseriscono nel filone che mischia black ed atmosfere folk/pagane, realizzando un insieme di canzoni piuttosto gradevoli nel loro genere, ma tutt’altro che originali. Tutto sommato comunque gli strumenti tipici utilizzati sono parecchi e i momenti da “sagra paesana” riescono a non essere troppo pacchiani, per cui se si apprezza il genere l’ascolto scorre piacevole e lascia soddisfatti.
“Irrbloss” non resterà perciò negli annali, ma nel suo genere è fatto meglio della media… consigliato agli appassionati.
