Genre defining technical death metal giants, Origin, will lay waste to North America once again this fall on an extensive co-headlining trek with the Brazilian death metal trio Krisiun. Origin’s latest release, Omnipresent, was recorded and mixed with longtime producer/engineer Robert Rebeck at Chapman Recording in Lenexa, KS. The album was mastered at Menegroth – The Thousand Caves with Colin Marston, and features artwork once again by Colin Marks. The album marks the recording debut of Jason Keyser (ex-Skinless), who has being touring with the Origin as their vocalist since the release of Entity.

As previously reported, Krisiun recently entered Mana Recording Studios in Florida to start the recording of their new album, set to be released in the late summer/early fall of 2015. The producer of this currently untitled album is Erik Rutan, the brain and heart of death metal masters Hate Eternal and former guitarist of Morbid Angel. Rutan has worked as a producer for his own band as well as for Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Malevolent Creation, Madball, Agnostic Front, to name just a few – additionally, he also co-produced Krisiun’s Conquerors Of Armageddon album back in 1999.
