GetYourRockOut.com conducted an interview with HALESTORM drummer Arejay Hale before the band’s March 14 concert in Machester, England. You can now watch the chat below.

Speaking about his late 2014 wedding to Jessie Covets, the singer and guitarist of the all-female Los Angeles-based quintet TRUE VIOLENT, Arejay said: “My girl and I spontaneously got married… Well, here’s the story… we spontaneously got married in [Las] Vegas. It was planned. I was engaged. But then, like, later on in the year, as I was making the [new HALESTORM] record… I mean, ask any touring musician. To maintain a relationship when you’re doing this is really tough. We went through a couple of rocky times. We were, like, ‘No… Is is worth it?’ Once we saw each other, it was, like, ‘Okay… There’s nobody else.’ So I literally flew home to L.A., I saw my girl, and then that day, I was, like, ‘I really still wanna marry you, if you’re cool with that.’ And she was, like, ‘well, why don’t you marry me now?’ And I was, like, ‘Okay.’ So we went to Burbank airport, flew to Vegas, got married. Corey Taylor‘s [SLIPKNOT, STONE SOUR] wife, Stephanie, helped us out. ‘Cause she lives out there. And I called up Stephanie. I was, like, ‘Hey, we need two witnesses. Do you wanna come to our…?’ And she’s, like, ‘When are you landing?’ And she was there, she had it all planned out, all figured out. She picked us up. She was amazing. And then, a couple of weeks later, we had the actual ceremony for the family. But the funny thing is that I got married the day after my dad did. Totally on accident. So my stepmom was the only Mrs. Hale for, like, a day. [Laughs] I was, like, ‘Sorry we stole your thunder.'”

HALESTORM has released a new video for “Amen”, taken from the group’s upcoming album, “Into The Wild Life”.

“Into The Wild Life” is due out on April 14.

The new disc follows up HALESTORM‘s Grammy-winning 2012 sophomore effort, “The Strange Case Of…”

HALESTORM is currently on the road in Europe and will begin a North American tour with THE PRETTY RECKLESS on April 22 in Nashville.
