After 17 years with German gothic metallers Crematory, guitarist Matze has decided to explore new musical territories and to re-arrange his private life. The band thank Matze from the bottom of their hearts, for the great times they spent together. Matze will always be a member of the Crematory family and they wish him nothing but the best for the future.
Now Crematory is looking for a new guitar player – preferrably with the ability to do vocals. Please send your applications, with video, to office@crematory.de.
Crematory recently released the third video from their latest album, Antiserum, for the track “Virus”. It was recorded at the legendary Wacken Open Air festival in 2014.
To span their live inactivity this year, the band decided to release the whole Wacken show as a DVD, including private backstage footage, detailed interviews, footage from their rehearsal room and the three videoclips from Antiserum.
The yet-untitled DVD will be released through SPV/Steamhammer on June 17th in Scandinavia, June 19th in Germany, June 22nd in Europe. The North American release date will be announced soon.
