ASESINO, the death metal/grindcore project featuring FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares and FEAR FACTORY/ex-STATIC-X bassist Tony Campos (on bass/vocals), will play at The Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, September 1. The event, which will also serve as Dino‘s 52nd birthday party, will feature support from THANATOLOGY, LEPRA (first show in 20 years), DARKSUN and HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE.
ASESINO will also perform at this year’s edition of Forcefest, set to take place October 6-7 in Teotihuacán, Mexico. Also scheduled to appear are SLAYER, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, ALICE IN CHAINS, NOFX, CARCASS and many others.
ASESINO has spent the last few years sporadically working on material for its long-awaited third album.
The band’s second disc, “Cristo Satanico”, came out in 2006.
