VHF Featuring TONY FRANKLIN, JOEL HOEKSTRA Releases Conceptual Video For "Invisible Thread"

VHF (Vinciguerra Hoekstra Franklin) have released a video for “Invisible Thread”, from their instrumental CD, Very High Frequency. VHF features drummer Todd “Vinny” Vinciguerra (the brain child behind the project), guitarist Joel Hoekstra’s (Whitesnake, Night Ranger, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and bassist Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder, Kenny Wayne Shepherd). Very High Frequency was produced by Joe Floyd, Todd “Vinny” Vinciguerra and Tommy Kessler (Blondie) and mastered by David Donnelly.

VHF previously released the video for “Suspended Animation”, which is a conceptual piece from Todd “Vinny” Vinciguerra, showing his interest in both space and science, mixing the universe and human brain: “When I decided to do a video for Suspended Animation, I wanted it to be different. Tired of seeing the same thing when it comes to music videos… bands playing and trying to look cool… it’s what’s expected… so why not do the unexpected and take the viewer on a journey both sonically and visually? I began the idea as a more literal translation; story-boarded a more sci-fi type video, with bodies in suspended animation… that too seemed almost expected.”

“Then I thought about the earth being in suspended animation in our universe… from there I was on a journey throughout our solar system and found out the end is not what I thought it was. There are galaxies upon galaxies and our Milky Way is just a spec in this huge mega cluster of galaxies called the Laniakea Supercluster!  After researching it, to me, the Laniakea Supercluster looks like the right and left side of the human brain. So, I decided to combine the two. I also happened to reach out to the astronomers who actually came up with the research on the Laniakea Supercluster. They examined my idea and gave me access to their charts, graphs and images! I did the same for a research doctor at MIT and she gave me access to her brain images. That was pretty cool. I am sure the next VHF video will have the band in it, but always expect the unexpected!”
