Following the 100 Guitars From Hel spectacle in Helsinki’s Senate Square on August 14th, the party moved to the Tavastia club. The Local Band – featuring Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), Jussi69 (The 69 Eyes), Archie Kuosmanen (Santa Cruz) and Olli Herman (Reckless Love) entertained the audience with headbanging covers of hair metal songs from the ’80s, including Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Poison, Mötley Crüe and more. On August 14th, Children Of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho turned the Senate Square in Helsinki, Finland into a metal arena. He composed a commissioned song for the Helsinki Festival, and was backed by 100 on stage. Live stream footage of the performance along with behind-the-scenes clips are available below.
