I Sinew non fanno nulla di speciale: il loro rock alternativo è piacevole e potrebbe tranquillamente passare in radio, nonostante non sia banale come può sembrare ad un ascolto distratto. “The Beauty Of Contrast” si ascolta quindi volentieri e tiene compagnia, tuttavia non credo che resterà impresso nelle menti di molti ascoltatori. Quello che c’è da dire in realtà è tutto qua, di gruppi come questo ce ne sono infatti tantissimi, poi si può sottolineare quanto, come già detto, le trame musicali tessute dai Sinew non siano sempre banali o come qualche momento qua e là sia un po’ più ruvido rispetto a quanto ci si potrebbe aspettare, tuttavia sono piccolezze.
Insomma, “The Beauty Of Contrast” è un lavoro sicuramente sufficiente ed altrettanto sicuramente evitabile.
