RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS Drummer CHAD SMITH Busking In London For RHYTHM Magazine (Video)

On June 27, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith did a little roaming around and busking in London, England as part of a photo shoot for the September 2016 issue of U.K.’s Rhythm magazine. You can see Rhythm‘s official video footage of the session below.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS‘ “Dark Necessities” recently became the No. 1 song on both the BDS and Mediabase Alternative charts, extending the band’s record for the artist with the most No. 1 singles in Modern Rock chart history with 13 total. To date, the group has spent 86 total weeks at the No. 1 position throughout their career (also a record). “Dark Necessities” is the band’s 14th song to reach the Top 5 and 25th to reach the Top 10 on the Alternative Chart.

“Dark Necessities” is the debut single from the band’s eleventh studio album, “The Getaway”, released by Warner Bros. Records on June 17. The album debuted at number one around the world. “The Getaway” marks the Grammy Award-winning band’s seventh top 10 album. The album debuted at #1 in Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands and New Zealand.
