MICHAEL SCHENKER'S TEMPLE OF ROCK: Visa Processing Delays Force Postponement Of First Three U.S. Shows

Due to unforeseen visa processing delays, MICHAEL SCHENKER’S TEMPLE OF ROCK — feraturing Schenker alongside ex-SCORPIONS drummer Herman Rarebell and bassist Francis Buchholz, ex-RAINBOW singer Doogie White and Wayne Findlay (guitar, keyboards) — has had to reschedule the first three shows of the 2015 North American leg of the “Spirit On A Mission” tour to promote the brand new album of the same name, which was released today through In-Akustik.

Affected shows:

Mar. 25 – San Jose, CA @ Rockbar Theatre
Mar. 27 – Portland, OR @ Bossanova Ballroom
Mar. 28 – Seattle, WA @ Studio Seven

New dates are as follows:

May 03 – San Jose, CA @ Rockbar Theatre
May 05 – Seattle, WA @ Studio Seven
May 06 – Portland, OR @ Bossanova

The rest of the tour will continue as scheduled.

A spokesman for the band said: “Everyone is gutted that we are missing out on playing these first few shows, particularly as this will be the first time Herman and Francis have played together on American soil in many years.

“Everyone is so fired up to deliver killer performances of the new TEMPLE OF ROCK songs from ‘Spirit On A Mission’ as well as classics from the SCORPIONS, UFO and MSG.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to those who bought tickets for the three affected shows, but hope they will come rawk out with us at the rescheduled performances.

“Sometimes things get beyond even our control and best endevors, as was the case in this situation.”

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.

“Spirit On A Mission” features twelve 12 classic rock guitar-driven songs that highlight Schenker‘s distinctive and dynamic guitar playing, valiantly underpinned by the ferocious rhythm section of Rarebell and Buchholz, the same rhythm section that originally performed together on the SCORPIONS‘ 1979 album “Lovedrive”.
