LAST IN LINE bassist Phil Soussan has slammed the “media” and “haters” for not “giving up” less than a week after special counsel Robert Mueller released a report on his investigation into Russian election interference and possible obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump.

Soussan tweeted: “Despite 14 anti Trump lawyers with nothing found, media and Haters have too much invested at this point to give up. Seen it in Vegas before; time to bet the house – Just roll one more time? #RussianRoulette”

The 57-year-old British-born bassist, who frequently tweets in support of Trump‘s policies, also reacted to a post from the president which linked to an article from the far-right The Daily Caller web site — co-founded by Fox News host Tucker Carlson — headlined: “CNN Ratings Continue To Plummet To All-Year Low”.

“I love this!” Phil wrote. “@CNN has lost all credibility as a “News” network and now the reality is evident.”

Trump has repeatedly called the investigation a witch hunt and referred to Mueller‘s team as “angry Democrats” despite the special counsel being a longtime registered Republican who was appointed by Republican deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein.

Mueller‘s report concluded President Donald Trump tried to seize control of the Russia probe but that there was insufficient evidence to charge him with obstruction of justice.

Despite Mueller clearly stating that the report “does not exonerate” Trump, the president’s supporters have celebrated the findings as absolving the billionaire real estate mogul from any wrongdoing.

LAST IN LINE‘s sophomore album, “II”, was released on February 22 via Frontiers Music Srl.
