Torna nel Belpaese una delle leggende del Sunset Strip di Los Angeles:
gli L.A. Guns – storica rock band californiana – calcheranno i palchi nostrani da giovedì 3 a domenica 6 maggio per festeggiare il loro 25° anniversario.
I membri originali del gruppo Phil Lewis (voce e chitarra) e Steve Riley (batteria) accompagnati da Stacey Blades (chitarra) e Scotty Griffin (basso) suoneranno a Bologna, Mirano (VE), Rozzano (MI), Bolzano.
Un’ottima occasione, quindi, per riascoltare “Sex Action”, “The Ballad of Jayne”, “Electric Gipsy” e tutte le più famose hit sfornate in oltre vent’anni di carriera. Se l’omonimo debutto degli L.A. Guns risale infatti al 1988, le radici della band affondano nei primissimi anni Ottanta, quando il chitarrista fondatore Tracii Guns e Axl Rose, futuro leader dei Guns N’ Roses, decisero di suonare insieme…
Le strade del cantante Phil Lewis e del chitarrista Tracii Guns si sono ormai separate, ma i due dischi di platino e canzoni come “Over The Edge”, inserita nella colonna sonora del film “Point Break”, rimangono.
