Exclusive: SOULSTORM Premier PARADISE LOST Cover “Eternal”

Toronto industrial-tinged death metallers, Soulstorm, have returned with a collection of covers of some of their biggest influences. The tribute album, fittingly titled The Devils Music: Volume 1, sees the band tackling classics from bands such as Celtic Frost, Godflesh, Ministry, Pitch Shifter, and Paraides Lost. Regarding the cover of the aforementioned UK doom gods, band mainman commented:

“We chose the song ‘Eternal’ because Paradise Lost’s Gothic cd was a big influence on the dark/doom sound of what we wanted to do with Soulstorm.”

The album also includes remixes of classic Soulstorm songs that originally appear on the Darkness Visible CD, released in ’92 on Metal Blade/Music For Nations.
