CLEAVER Announce Addition Of Singer Kjetil Hektoen, Bassist Jon Einar Hektoen

Trondheim, Norway-based death/thrash metal act, Cleaver, have announced that Kjetil Hektoen (Enthral, Sjodogg) have joined the band on vocals. Ola Langli left the band on good terms to focus on his studio work. Cleaver have also recruited Jon Einar Hektoen (Vecordious, Posthum) on bass. Christer Lunde left the band on friendly terms.

Cleaver recently finished the instrumental recordings of their sophomore album, No Cure For Cleaver, which Kjetil Hektoen will now complete with his notorious vocals. The band is currently looking for a label to release their upcoming album.

Cleaver was formed in 2009 by Espen Hektoen (Chton) (drums), Øyvind Rekdal (Chton) (lead guitars) and Andreas Hånes (rhythm guitars) and stays true to their vision of old school extreme metal.

Their debut album, When There’s No More Room In Hell…, was released by Dead Centre Productions in 2013. In 2014 Cleaver released The Sickest Tales (EP) as the perfect follow up to their first release. With the search for a label the band is anticipating to release No Cure For Cleaver unto the metal world in the fall of 2015.
