news children of bodom alexi laiho riff notes
On August 14th, Children Of Bodom frontman Alexi Laiho turned the Senate Square in Helsinki, Finland into a metal arena. He composed a commissioned song for the Helsinki Festival, and was backed by 100 on stage. Live stream footage of the performance along with behind-the-scenes clips are available below.
The performance begins at the 36:50 mark.
The chosen guitarists for the event were divided into five groups, and each group had to learn their own parts during July. Check out the five demo clips below:
