E’ trascorso un anno da quando i Black Sabbath hanno annunciato la loro reunion. Ed eccoli al lavoro, in studio di registrazione a Malibu, al loro “primo” album.
La band è attualmente impegnata col produttore discografico Rick Rubin. Sono state scritte, secondo quanto dichiarato da Geezer Butler, bassista del gruppo, 15 canzoni, di cui 12, sicuramente, entreranno a far parte del disco. Tony Iommi, che a quanto pare sta meglio e sta recuperando dopo il ricovero dovuto alla diagnosi di un cancro ad inizio anno, ha completato il lavoro alle guitar tracks e Ozzy e Butler alla stesura dei testi.
E’ stato inoltre confermato il titolo di uno dei brani dell’album, che sarà ‘God Is Dead’.
Sharon Osbourne, moglie di Ozzy, nonchè manager del gruppo, ha dichiarato inoltre, in una recente intervista, che i Black Sabbath saranno in tour in Australia la prossima primavera.
