VADER’s Peter Talks Upcoming Album – “We Also Used Some ‘Riff Types’ Which We Never Used Before”

Russia’s Musica caught up with Vader’s Peter to talk about their new album, The Empire and the possibility of touring Russia again.

When asked what’s to be expected from The Empire and if there will be any surprises, Peter said, “It is hard to explain for the composer, how the new album is gonna be like… From one side this is one of most intense Vader album ever recorded. From the other hand, it is probably most different as a whole. If you compare songs like ‘Tempest’ , ’Iron Reign’ , ‘Parabellum’ or ‘Army-Geddon’, each of them is so different. But all together make 35 minutes of total metal attack! …and this is Vader. We used also some ‘riff types’, which we never used before. I am sure, that The Empire will be interesting as for our veterans as for new fans. We will see.”

Vader recently announced a new release for their new studio album, The Empire. The album, previously scheduled for release on September 23rd via Nuclear Blast, will now be available on November 4th.

The follow-up to their 2014 album, Tibi Et Igni, was recorded at Hertz Studios in Bialystok, Poland and produced by Wojtek and Slawek Wiesawski.

Vader recently released a special 10″ single, entitled Iron Times. The Iron Times artwork was created by Joe Petagno. Details below.
