Ufficiale la notizia del decesso del chitarrista degli Slayer Jeff Hanneman all’età di 49 anni, il corpo è stato trovato alle 11 di mattina del 2 marzo nella sua casa nel sud della California. Ancora non confermata la causa della morte, potrebbe essere legata ad un morso di un ragno nel Gennaio del 2011 al braccio del chitarrista che gli ha causato un’infezione ed anche impedito di suonare.

Hanneman was in an area hospital when he suffered liver failure. He is survived by his wife Kathy, his sister Kathy and his brothers Michael and Larry, and will be sorely missed.
