Welsh “ragga metal” band SKINDRED has been forced to cancel its previously announced U.S. tour in support of its new album, “Big Tings”. The trek was scheduled to kick off on September 26 in Jacksonville, Florida and run through October 12 in Tempe, Arizona.

SKINDRED said in a statement: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control. We have unfortunately had to cancel our run of upcoming U.S. tour dates, which were due to start in Florida later this week. We sincerely apologise to you who have bought tickets for any inconvenience caused and hope to reschedule some of these shows back in for 2019.”

The Chameleon Club in Harrisburg, Pennasylvania, where SKINDRED was scheduled to perform on October 3, offered more information on the band’s cancelation, writing in a tweet: “We have just been advised that SKINDRED‘s visas have been delayed and will not be approved ‘for at least another few weeks.’ Unfortunately, this means we will have to cancel the upcoming tour date at the Chameleon Club. Refunds can be received at your point of purchase.”

“Big Tings” was released on April 27 via Napalm Records. The disc was recorded at Peter Gabriel‘s Real World studio in the village of Box, Wiltshire, England,

SKINDRED recently released a music video for its “Machine” single. The clip features actor and stuntman Neil Chapelhow, best known for his work in the films “Wonder Woman” and “Fantastic Beasts”.

“Machine” features vocals by REEF frontman Gary Stringer and guitar by Phil Campbell of MOTÖRHEAD. The track was previously used as both the intro and outro theme to AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson‘s TV show “Cars That Rock”.
