METALLICA - Mexico City Show Sells Out In Less Than Two Hours; Second Show Announced

Metallica have checked in with the following announcement:

“Mexico City! Tickets for the March 1st show have already sold out in less than two hours… perhaps you would like another night? The schedule is clear and we’re excited to add a second show at Foro Sol in Mexico City on March 3, 2017.”

Speaking to Italy’s Linea Rock about Metallica’s new album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, frontman James Hetfield also talks about the band’s immediate tour plans and making more new music.

“We’ve booked out two years, at least,” says Hetfield. “So, I can’t predict the future, but we start there and hopefully there’s more than that. And I would like to make some new music sooner than eight years, for sure. There’s such a pleasure and a joy of hearing your new music and having other people hear it. So we don’t wanna wait that long.”

Hardwired…To Self-Destruct is Metallica’s first studio album since 2008’s multi-platinum Death Magnetic.
