Se la musica fosse stata tutta spazzatura, a nessuno sarebbe interessato ascoltarla, ma ovviamente tutto quello che è successo in Norvegia ha contribuito a diffonderla. Cosa ricordo? Molto. Non sono così vecchio da non riuscire a ricordare chiaramente quello che è successo 20 anni fa. Credo che la scena norvegese in quel periodo sia stata molto glorificata negli anni. Come ho già detto, era davvero un covo di vipere, e il negozio di Euronymous, un nido di topi. Poche individualità brillavano come una luce nell’oscurità, ma la scena era marcia dal profondo.
