California rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES will celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut album, “We Stitch These Wounds”, next year by releasing a re-recorded version of the LP, along with some new songs.

“We Stitch These Wounds” was issued in July 2010 via StandBy Records and was BLACK VEIL BRIDES‘ only studio album to feature drummer Sandra Alvarenga before she left the band and joined MODERN DAY ESCAPE.

BLACK VEIL BRIDES singer Andy Biersack revealed the group’s plans to revisit its debut disc during a recent interview with Rock Sound.

Speaking about BLACK VEIL BRIDES‘ activities in the coming months, Biersack said (see video below): “It’ll be 10 years since the first record next summer, so we plan to do kind of a reimagining of that record and re-recording some of the stuff, and probably some new songs added to it, and maybe some covers that we wanna do. So that’ll come out, and that’ll be really fun. I don’t know what the plans are outside of that, as far as how we’re gonna present that. But that’s the plan right now.”

As for a possible new album from BLACK VEIL BRIDES, Andy said: “What’s great about [2018’s] ‘Vale’ being what it was is that it was kind of the end to a chapter and that style and feeling of the band from the ‘Wretched And Divine’ era and everything. I think we all kind of feel like whatever is next, it’s gonna be something that’s totally fresh and new.”

“Vale” came out in January 2018 via Lava/Universal Republic. The follow-up to BLACK VEIL BRIDES‘ 2014 self-titled effort was produced by John Feldmann at his Southern California studio.

Biersack (a.k.a. Andy Black) will release his sophomore album, “The Ghost Of Ohio”, on April 12 via Lava/Republic.
