A più di vent’anni dall’uscita di “Bezerk”, disco che segnò quella che all’epoca venne definita una vera e propria rinascita del Glam Metal, i britannici Tigertailz tornano a guardare al futuro con rinnovato entusiasmo ed obiettivi ancora più ambiziosi. Il nuovo EP “Knives”, in uscita a settembre su Scarlet Records, raccoglie cinque nuovi brani a firma Tigertailz, la prima manciata di materiale inedito in oltre sei anni, che ci riconsegna una band che vede
lo storico fondatore Jay Pepper tornare a collaborare con il batterista Matt Blakout, oltre al frontman Jules Millis e al bassista Rob Wylde. Matt torna dunque nella band dopo una prolifica collaborazione con Verden Allen, storico membro dei Mott The Hoople, e lo fa in un momento cruciale per la stessa, un momento in cui le lame sono più affilate che mai.
Le premesse sono decisamente incoraggianti: un concorso lanciato dalla band, che metteva in palio alcune copie autografate dell’EP, ha infatti attratto più di 10.000 partecipanti in meno di un’ora. E una serie di iniziative analoghe verranno annunciate presto, oltre alle attesissime nuove date live, in cui la band dà notoriamente il meglio di sé.
