Sammy Hagar has announced the release of a concert recording with his band the Circle, featuring Chickenfoot and former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham and longtime Wabos guitarist Vic Johnson.
“There hasn’t been a live rock and roll album like this in years,” Hagar says, “and I know you’re gonna love it.”
According to a press release, Sammy Hagar & The Circle: At Your Service was recorded live on tour in 2014, this release documents the blistering performance of a band on fire performing hits from Sammy’s four decades of rock (Montrose, Solo, Van Hagar, Wabos, Chickenfoot) as well as classic tracks from the Led Zeppelin catalog. Available for preorder on iTunes starting next week! All iTunes preorders will include an instant download of “Poundcake”. You can grab the full album when it releases on May 19th in both digital and physical packages.
