The official visualizer for “A Hall Clad In Gold”, a new song from Swedish metallers GRAND MAGUS, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album, “Wolf God”, which will be released on April 19 via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2016’s “Sword Songs” was recorded at Sweetspot Studio in Sweden with producer Staffan Karlsson (ARCH ENEMY, FIREWIND, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS).

Comments frontman Janne “J.B.” Christoffersson: “Dear headbangers! We have reached the third track from our new album. This is ‘A Hall Clad In Gold’. Who knows what happens when death claims you? The only thing you can do is to be true to yourself and strive toward being the best you can be. Perhaps fate will decide the rest.”

According to a press release, “Wolf God” “rises over the heavy metal scene majestically and lets the guitar riffs speak for themselves.

“The groove and heaviness that were featured on the successful predecessor can also be found on the new, ninth studio album which once again holds a number of future classics.

“As the majority of the songs were recorded on the first take, they have an honest, diverse and yet down-to-earth sound that envelops the trio’s true power.”

This cover artwork was created by acclaimed artist Anthony Roberts.

The band comments: “For the third time, the magic skill and imagination of Anthony Roberts has given birth to the cover artwork for a GRAND MAGUS album. This time the forest, the moon and obviously the wolf take center stage. Not just any wolf though… beware his fury. This is the ‘Wolf God’!”
