I Waterwings sono un gruppo simpatico, ma tutt’altro che memorabile. “Melodrama Of Unfortunate Events” è un disco di punk rock/emo del tipo più ruffiano, assolutamente non profondo e per nulla originale, tuttavia il suo compitino lo svolge bene. I dieci brani che lo compongono sono infatti gradevoli e tengono compagnia all’ascoltatore con leggerezza (forse anche per la breve durata dell’album).
Insomma, “Melodrama Of Unfortunate Events” è un disco che va benissimo per un viaggio in macchina e probabilmente è rivolto ad un pubblico di età più bassa della mia (che forse potrebbe prenderlo più seriamente di me)… Nel suo essere innocuo si merita comunque una sufficienza.
