Poland’s FURIA – New Album Out In November

Poland’s Furia will release their fifth full-length on November 14th.  Entitled Księżyc milczy luty (roughly translates to “Moon Silent Severe”) the album is scheduled to be released through Pagan Records. Once again recording took place at Czyściec Studio. Mixing duties were fulfilled by the band’s vocalist/guitarist Nihil and mastering by Bartłomiej Kuzniak at Studio 333.

Furia were established in Katowice, Poland in 2003. Their unique take on black metal with elements of folk (dubbed “Nekrofolk”) and abstract poetic themes influenced by the astounding and brutal beauty of their home province of Silesia took Polish black metal to entirely new regions. The band’s music is spiced up with lyrics written by Nihil, who is one of the most gifted Polish artists of the decade. No wonder the band are considered to be one of the most influential acts in Poland. Nocel, the band’s previous full-length, dominated the Polish metal charts when it was released in October 2014 via Pagan Records.

Furia is part of the “Let the World Burn” collective which comprises multiple bands sharing the same members. This collective includes, but is not limited to: MasseMord, Furia, FDS and Cssaba.
