MOTÖRHEAD Guitarist PHIL CAMPBELL Hospitalized; Tonight’s Show In Berlin Cancelled

Tonight’s (Friday, November 27th) Motörhead show in Berlin, Germany has been cancelled.

The band explain: “With great regret, Motörhead have to cancel the sold out show in Berlin today, November 27th. Our brother, guitarist Phil Campbell suddenly required hospitalization. He will be better soon but there is no choice other than to cancel our show in Berlin.

Metallica bassist and Jaco film producer Robert Trujillo presented a Bass Player Lifetime Achievement Award to Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister at the Bass Player Live! Concert on the evening of November 7th at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. The event was part of the eighth annual premier live bass guitar event – Bass Player Live! 2015 – held Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November 8th in Los Angeles.

Video footage from the all-star performances honouring Lemmy can be viewed below. The clips include appearances by Trujillo, Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), Chuck Billy (Testament), Lita Ford, and bassists Dug Pinnick (King’s X), Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne) and Rex Brown (Kill Devil Hill).
