Chicago’s Immortal Bird, fronted by Thrawsunblat drummer Rae Amitay, have checked in with the following update:
“We at Immortal Bird HQ are so grateful for the year we’ve had, and for all of your support. Our debut LP Empress/Abscess came out to some pretty critical acclaim, we made a bunch of friends on several tours across the United States, played some incredible shows/fests with exceptional bands, gained Nate Madden as a wonderful new live guitarist, and made big plans for our future. 2016 will be spent writing the next album, and of course, touring. Our first announcement regarding the latter will be in the next few weeks, and it’s gonna be pretty dang cool. We’ll be going out in April with some great friends of ours, and they sound absolutely disgusting. In the best way. You’ll see.”
