Quello dei Dysfunctional By Choice è un rock alternativo ipervitaminizzato e molto vario. Questi ragazzi arricchiscono il loro rock vigoroso aggiungendo elementi punk, hardcore, psichedelici, metallici e a volte persino noise e pop. Ciò che ne esce fuori è un qualcosa di mutevole, interessante e gradevole, ma ancora imperfetto. E’ infatti da apprezzare la ricerca di personalità compiuta dalla band, ma effettivamente si notano alcune influenze ancora piuttosto evidenti (soprattutto Tool e Faith No More), inoltre non sempre il mix è riuscito bene e diverse volte i Dysfunctional By Choice si perdono un po’ per strada.
Chiarito ciò “Travelling In Travel” è un disco pienamente sufficiente e più interessante della media dei promo che mi arrivano, capace di creare curiosità e di far sperare in una buona maturazione dei Dysfunctional By Choice, che sembrano avere le potenzialità per realizzare qualcosa di davvero riuscito e personale.
