Mi dispiace per i By Blood Alone, ma era da un pezzo che non sentivo un disco tanto brutto! “Seas Of Blood” è infatti un album gothic dalle composizioni banali, incise in maniera non soddisfacente (la produzione è praticamente da demo) e soprattutto cantate in maniera terribile. Non solo la cantante è a mio avviso poco capace, ma addirittura la produzione fa sembrare il cantato “staccato” dalla musica, accentuando ancora di più le vistose imperfezioni della voce. Le cose non migliorano poi molto dal punto di vista musicale, le canzoni sono infatti assolutamente anonime e troppo lunghe (non si può tirare un pezzo sui 7 o gli 8 minuti se non si hanno elevate capacità di gestione della materia musicale, dote non comune).
Insomma, di salvabile in “Seas Of Blood” secondo me non c’è praticamente nulla, a parte la discreta immagine di copertina (che a poco serve).
