Vince Neil is being sued by a single mother who claims she was assaulted by the MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman at a Las Vegas hotel in April. According to the lawsuit, Neil‘s attack resulted in “substantial medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.” She is seeking $75,000 in compensatory damages in addition to $75,000 in punitive damages and legal fees.

In her lawsuit, Kelly Guerrero says she was walking with her 14-year-old son near the entrance to the Aria hotel when they realized they were walking behind actor Nicholas Cage, Neil and comedian Carrot Top. “As Nicholas Cage walked by them, Kelly said, ‘I love you,’ and ‘My son loved you in ‘Ghost Rider’ and ‘City Of Angels’,'” the complaint reads. “As she was saying these things, Mr. Cage put Vince Neil in a headlock and the two appeared to be engaging in ‘horseplay.’ Then, as Mr. Cage let go of Vince Neil and was walking away, Vince Neil attacked Kelly without warning or provocation. Neil grabbed Kelly‘s hair from behind yanking her down to the pavement on her back. Nicholas Cage grabbed Vince Neil in a headlock, shouting at him to ‘stop.’ At this point, it was clear that Vince Neil was severely intoxicated and/or under the influence of powerful drug(s). When Nicholas Cage finally let go of Vince Neil, Neil staggered toward yet another woman, grabbing and attacking her. She stumbled, scooped up her cell phone which he had knocked to the ground, and ran out the entrance of the Aria. At this point, Mr. Cage re-engaged with Vince Neil, holding him in a bearhug and headlock, and staggered with him out the front door of the Aria onto the street, as Vince Neil continued to incomprehensibly struggle.”

Guerrero says her son witnessed Neil‘s assault and battery upon her and that hotel security called police. Neil was charged with misdemeanor assault and has a July 27 court date in Las Vegas Justice Court.

“After the assault and battery, Kelly went to her hotel room at the New York, New York and stayed there for the remainder of the evening until the next day when she awoke with neck pain, low back and buttock pain,” the complaint continues. “She and her son went to Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas where she was seen in the ER and diagnosed with a ‘back sprain or strain; neck sprain or strain and sacral contusion due to physical assault.’ The doctor at the ER sent her home with pain medication and muscle relaxers with instructions to follow up with her primary care physician in Santa Cruz, California. She has been diagnosed with a fracture coccyx and a severe left hip injury. Since then she has received further medical care and psychotherapy due to the severe trauma Vince Neil inflicted on her.”

The lawsuit adds: “Neil‘s attack on Kelly Guerrero and at least one other woman in the foyer of the Aria Hotel on April 4, 2016 is part of an ongoing pattern and practice of drunken, out-of-control violent and dangerous conduct by Vince Neil for which he has largely escaped responsibility through his use of his wealth and privilege as a so-called ‘celebrity.’ His narcissistic, violent behavior subjects him to punitive and exemplary damages.”

Cage and Neil are longtime friends who were previously photographed together at the rocker’s strip club back in 2012.

This isn’t Vince‘s first brush with the law. Back in 2011, he served 10 days of a 15-day DUI sentence in connection with a June 2010 incident when he was speeding and weaving between lanes on Desert Inn Road west of Paradise Road, near the Las Vegas Strip, authorities said.

In 1984, Neil smashed his car into another vehicle in Redondo Beach, California, killing HANOI ROCKS drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley and seriously injuring two other occupants.

Neil was charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol. His blood alcohol level was 0.17, which was over the legal limit.

Neil served half of a 30-day jail sentence, received five years probation and had to pay $2.6 million in restitution, as well as perform 200 hours of community service.
