Outspoken conservative rocker Ted Nugent has slammed President Obama as “a Chicago scam artist in chief” and “a psychopathic, America-hating liar” after the president’s speech on gun violence.
Earlier today, Obama announced a series of new measures to strengthen gun controls, including requiring all gun sellers to conduct background checks before selling a firearm.
Nugent took to his Facebook page following Obama‘s speech to offer the following: “I will write a comprehensive piece on the Chicago scam artist in chief on his latest lies about tyranical trampling of the 2nd Amendment but know it ye all goodmen everywhere that his ongoing criminal oath violating INFRINGEMENTS would NOT have stopped nor will ever stop ANY mass shootings or crime that anyone is aware of. He is a psychopathic America hating liar. Period. Even his freedom hating AG made it perfectly clear she is ‘…. keeping a close eye on gun owners….’ instead of repeat criminal thugs. Dear God in heaven America is going down fast! Give NRA mbrshps to everyone you know TODAY!!”
It is estimated that there are 32,000 gun-related deaths in the United States annually.
Nugent in 2014 apologized for referring to President Barack Obama as a “subhuman mongrel,” calling that word grouping “street-fighter terminology” and saying he wished he used “more understandable language,” such as “violator of his oath to the Constitution.”
Nugent was investigated by the Secret Service in April 2012 after saying that he would be “dead or in jail by this time next year” if Obama was re-elected.
