STARQUAKE Signs With Pure Rock Records

Starquake have signed a worldwide deal with Pure Rock Records, a sublabel of Pure Steel Records.

Starquake, that’s the studio-project of multi-instrumentalist, singer, sound engineer and producer Mikey, the Voice.

Influenced by the greats of their respective genres Iron Maiden and Spock’s Beard, the music settles with heavy guitars, huge drums and elaborate vocals. Spiced up with a good amount of Hammond organ and big arrangements the big picture is always harmonic and melody-oriented.

With his guest-musicians (music-teachers and a musicologist), all of whom look back on long years of stage and studio experience, Mikey, the Voice creates a sonic journey with Starquake to the 1970s and ‘80s, still contemporary sounding.
