Ernie Ball has released a brand new mini-documentary, “Unspoken Expression”, featuring GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist Slash.
Filmed inside Slash‘s private studio and creative haven, “Unspoken Expression” delves into the rock icon’s playing, early inspirations, and how the guitar is the conduit for his creativity and passion.
“The guitar is basically a vehicle to be able to express feelings of anxiety, feelings of anger, feelings of passion, feelings of love, feelings of excitement, feelings of violence, feelings of sex… all of these kinds of emotions are, for me, very well expressed through the guitar,” Slash says.
SLASH FEATURING MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS‘s new album, “Living The Dream”, was released on September 21 via Slash‘s own label Snakepit Records. It is Slash‘s fourth solo album and third since putting together the CONSPIRATORS, which also features singer Myles Kennedy, drummer Brent Fitz, bassist Todd Kerns and guitarist Frank Sidoris.
The “Living The Dream” sessions, which commenced in late March, saw the band reunite with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, who also helmed 2014’s “World On Fire”. But while the producer stayed the same, the studio this time changed, with Slash opting to move operations to his newly active recording facility, Snakepit Studios.
