PERRY FARRELL Recruits Ex-PEARL JAM, JANE'S ADDICTION Members For Solo Band, KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA

Visionary artist and impresario Perry Farrell announced today the highly anticipated live performance of his new musical venture, PERRY FARRELL’S KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA. Farrell has assembled a dream team of musicians and performers to deliver an immersive experience of sound and vision.

Perry will headline Los Angeles’s Teragram Ballroom on Friday, November 30 as part of the inaugural Bill Graham Festival Of Lights. The JANE’S ADDICTION and PORNO FOR PYROS singer and Lollapalooza co-founder will perform with PERRY FARRELL’S KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA and debut new music from his first solo album in over 18 years, set for release in 2019. Several Los Angeles music icons will also join Farrell on stage at the Teragram.

This special performance kicks off a big year for Farrell, who will soon announce more events for 2019. On December 2, PERRY FARRELL’S KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA will headline another Bill Graham Festival of Lights show at The Fillmore in San Francisco.

PERRY FARRELL’S KIND HEAVEN ORCHESTRA includes Matt Chamberlain (PEARL JAM, SOUNDGARDEN; drums); Chris Chaney (JANE’S ADDICTION; bass) and Matt Rohde (keys); Nick Maybury (guitar) and Etty Lau Farrell (vocals).

Perry Farrell recently signed an exclusive worldwide record deal with BMG to release his new solo album, “Kind Heaven”, a musical scene-setter for his immersive entertainment destination “Kind Heaven” set to open at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas next year.

Slated for release in 2019, “Kind Heaven” marks the first solo album release from the JANE’S ADDICTION and PORNO FOR PYROS frontman since 2001. Conceived by Farrell and produced by Tony Visconti, “Kind Heaven” features Taylor Hawkins (FOO FIGHTERS), Mike Garson (DAVID BOWIE), Matt Chamberlain (SOUNDGARDEN), Chris Chaney (JANE’S ADDICTION), Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Peter Distefano (PORNO FOR PYROS), Dhani Harrison, Elliot Easton (THE CARS), Joachim Garraud (DAVID GUETTA), and other notable star turns. Sonic highlights include orchestral scoring by Hollywood composer Harry Gregson Willams, striking duets with Etty Farrell, and a first-of-its-kind sound mix by IMN Creative to create an all-new music experience for fans.

After dissolving his post-punk band PSI COM in 1984, Farrell co-founded influential pioneers of the Los Angeles underground JANE’S ADDICTION, building a rabid fan base behind their legendary, high-energy shows. The band would go on to release the ground-breaking platinum-certified “Nothing’s Shocking”, two-times-platinum “Ritual De Lo Habitual”, gold compilation “Kettle Whistle” and gold-certified “Strays”, among their nine album releases.

Farrell subsequently became frontman and co-founder of PORNO FOR PYROS, whose eponymous debut album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, yielding the No. 1 single “Pets”, and went on to be certified gold, with “Good God’s Urge” following three years later. As a solo artist, Farrell released the compilation “Rev” in 1999, followed by his debut solo album “Song Yet To Be Sung” in 2001. Performing as SATELLITE PARTY, he released the album “Ultra Payloaded” in 2007. Farrell is the co-founder and organizer of Lollapalooza, the renowned global festival brand, as well as an environmentalist and human rights activist.
