Barcelona, Spain’s Obsidian Kingdom have released a new video for their track “Black Swan”. Guitarist Eaten Roll I and guitarist/vocalist Rider G Omega perform the track from the band’s album, A Year With No Summer, at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona in June 2016.
A Year With No Summer was released back in March via Season of Mist. The band released the dystopian mockumentary (see below) that was produced for “Black Swan”, the second single from the album.
A message states: ““Black Swan” reflects on the idea of a dramatic and unexpected shift in the routines that define our comfort zones. It is at the same time a vintage memento from an idyllic past, and the foreboding of a terrible, hostile and sublime future. By the way, we know there’s a typo in the video. It’s entirely our fault and now we will have to live with it all our lives. Sometimes we find it hard to sleep at night because of that.”
