MYRKUR Premieres Live Sessions Via BBC Radio 1's Rock Show; Audio

Danish black metal phenom, Myrkur, has just premiered live recordings of three tracks via the BBC’s Radio 1 Rock Show. The sessions, which were recorded live at Maida Vale Studios on October 26tj, include the tracks “Frosne Vind”, “Onde Børn”, “Hævnen”, “Jeg er Guden I er tjenerne”, and “Song To Hall Up High”, off of Myrkur’s 2014 self-titled EP and her debut 2015 full-length M.

The sessions premiered live this past Sunday and can be streamed via the BBC’s website at this location.

Myrkur’s BBC live sessions follow the release of her first full-length album M, released via Relapse Records in August 2015. Publications worldwide have hailed M and Myrkur as a unique and timeless expression of black metal, and the album has catapulted Myrkur directly into the spotlight of the metal community at large.

Myrkur has also played a select number of shows in Europe, including performances at the Emanuel Vigeland Mausoleum, Roskilde Fest in Denmark, and Midgardsblot Metal Festival. Recently, Myrkur announced her first-ever tour in support of US post-black metal troupe Deafheaven, and has also been confirmed for Hellfest 2016 in Clisson, France.
