Episode #289 of the Iron City Rocks Podcast features an interview with Monroe. During the chat, he talks about his new solo album, Blackout States, and how it came together, as well as his touring plans for the foreseeable future, bands that influenced his style, and his relationship with Guns N’ Roses over the years.

Commenting on GN’R, Monroe stated,  “Guns N’ Roses had that punk thing that was missing from those hair bands… the chemistry in that band wasn’t the same after Steven Adler left.”
