LAMB OF GOD Frontman RANDY BLYTHE Talks Role In CHTHONIC Action Film – "I Did It Because It's Awesome To Be In A Kung Fu Movie"

In an interview with EMP Rock Invasion shot this past summer (found below), Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe discusses his book Dark Days, and his involvement in an action movie being made by Taiwanese metal icons Chthonic. The role was offered to him by Chthonic vocalist Freddy Lim.

Chthonic frontman Freddy Lim recently announced that he will run for political office in Taiwan. Lim is a known political activist who has been involved in several movements. Now, through his party NPP (New Power Party), he will compete for a congressman’s position in the legislative capital of Taipei.

In Chthonic news, the band will perform a special concert on December 26th in Liberty Square near the memorial Chang Kai- Shek Memorial Hall in the capital Taipei. The concert will celebrate the band’s 20 year career and the 70th anniversary of the country’s creation after the end of World War II. The band promises to play all the classics and are expected to draw 10,000 people. More details to follow.
