Japan’s Yukiko Inui and Risako Mitsui used a medley of KAMELOT songs (“Karma”, “The Spell” and “Ghost Opera”) for their synchronized swimming duet routine at the Rio Olympics.

Inui and Mitsui previously presented the same routine during their appearance at the FINA World Aquatics Championships 2015 in Kazan, Russia.

Inui and Matsui are hoping for Japan’s first Olympic medal in the event since Emiko Suzuki and Saho Harada won bronze in Beijing in 2008

A perennial bronze medalist in synchronized swimming since the sport’s Olympic introduction in 1984, Japan’s proud record came to an end in London four years ago.

KAMELOT is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, “Haven”, which sold around 7,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD was made available in May 2015 via Napalm Records as part of an exclusive licensing deal through the band’s Kamelot Music LLC.
