DISTURBED singer David Draiman recently took part in The Rock Reel‘s “Stronger Than All” challenge. He was asked to hold a five-kilogram solid steel hammer with his arm stretched out to the fullest and hold it as long as he could. You can now watch the results below.
In a 2011 interview, Draiman spoke about the difficulties of staying in shape while touring the world. He said: “In Europe, it’s not as easy [to find a good gym to work out in]. In the States, it’s much easier. We still go the extra mile. Even if it’s something as simple as a hotel gym; if they have some decent cardio equipment, if they have just a decent bench and at least an adequate amount of weight and dumbbells, you can at least get most of your work done that you need to get done. But it’s a challenge. There’s no question about it.”
DISTURBED‘s latest album, “Immortalized”, became the band’s fifth effort in a row to enter the chart at No. 1 — a feat shared only with METALLICA and DAVE MATTHEWS BAND.
DISTURBED kicked off a North American tour — its first in more than four years — on February 10 in Fargo.
