HALESTORM has been forced to cancel tonight’s (February 3) concert at the Knitting Factory in Reno, Nevada. The band states: “Unfortunately, Lzzy has the nasty flu that we have been trying so hard to avoid.

“We love Reno and have rescheduled the show for June 16th. Your tickets to tonight’s show will be honored on that date, so hold on to them.

“We’re going to take care of Lzzy, hunker down, and try to stay healthy.

“See you in June!”

Adds Lzzy: “I’m so sorry about the cancelation tonight! Seems I’ve caught a bug I was trying to avoid.

“As you all know, I hate canceling shows; I can’t even remember the last time I did.”

In other news, HALESTORM will filming a new music video in the Los Angeles area this Friday, February 6. The band states: “[We are] looking for our beloved diehard freaks to be in the video!

“Please send your photo, age and full contact information to halestormcasting@gmail.com.

“If you have tattoos, piercings, fun hairstyle, a generally interesting look about you, then please include photos highlighting them and details.

“Once we have received and gone through all the submissions, those of you we need to participate will receive notice with all the details on the shoot.

“Please note you must provide your own transportation to and from the shoot.”

HALESTORM last month released the official video for its new single, “Apocalyptic”. The track is taken from the band’s third studio album, “Into The Wild Life”, which will be released in Europe on April 3 and North America on April 7.

“Into The Wild Life” follows up HALESTORM‘s Grammy-winning 2012 sophomore effort, “The Strange Case Of…”

The new disc was recorded last year in Nashville and features 13 new songs.
