Former SIN CITY SINNER ZACHARY THRONE Has Guitar Stolen

“This is very hard to write. Those of you who know me or have seen me play, like me, love me or even hate me, know my guitar. It’s an off-white, cream colored, 1979 Les Paul,” posted former Sin City Sinners guitarist Zachary Throne.

“I’ve played this guitar almost exclusively for 25 years. It was the first real great guitar I ever owned. I played it on every album I worked on, every tour I went on and almost every gig I’ve ever done. It was stolen in Studio City, California last night. If anyone sees this guitar on Ebay or Craigslist or sees it in ANY Guitar store or pawn shop in LA or Orange County (especially the East Valley of LA), please write me or call me.

There are some distinctive things about it to look for and I’ve included photos for references to the following (I don’t have the serial number, sadly):

The neck Pickup volume knob is brown. All the other knobs are black.

It has an unusually thick, hand braided, leather guitar strap, about 5 inches in diameter that covers almost your entire shoulder blade area. The reason I note this is because the strap locks are very fussy and it’s hard to get the strap off, so it might still be on it.”

“Seymour Duncan pickups in both the neck and bridge positions.

Black and white glue-like schmutz around the toggle switch.

It has two gashes of chipped paint just to the right of where your right arm would lie.

The neck is sanded down and is the natural color of the wood.

There’s a major section of the back of the body that is missing paint.

It’s not the end of the world, but I’d be a stone cold liar if I was to say that I’m not absolutely gutted. Looking through my Facebook photos to make this post, I realize there’s hardly a photo of me not playing this guitar. I’m trying to keep my sense of humor, so if you have a funny joke or story, feel free to post it. I’ve got rocking to do and the show will go on and it will RULE HARD!

Again, if anybody sees this guitar around the LA or OC area or advertised ‘for sale’ on Craigslist or Ebay, please get in touch with me. Also, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST, no matter where you live. Thank you.

You can’t kill rock and roll. It’s here to stay.”
