ENSLAVED – “Being Compared To PINK FLOYD Is Not A Bad Thing”; New Interview Streaming

Norway’s Enslaved are currently on tour in North America with Between the Buried and Me promoting their latest album “In Times.” On their last pass through Toronto, Andrew Epstein sat down with Ivar Bjørnson (guitar/vocals) and Grutle Kjellson (vocals/bass) for a candid interview about how they created their unique progressive black metal sound, the importance of Norse culture in their lyrics and themes, and how they’re treated much better at home than they were during black metal’s controversial beginnings in the nineties. Enslaved have two upcoming dates in Canada: December 10th in Toronto at the Danforth Music Hall, and December 11th in Ottawa at the Bronson Centre.
