ELEVEN SEVEN MUSIC Announces Launch Of BETTER NOISE RECORDS Imprint

As Gene Simmons proclaims the death of rock and major labels divest their interests in the genre, one organization is growing and investing in some of the best new rock out there.

Eleven Seven Music Group has been a force to be reckoned with in rock with 5 artists in the Mediabase Active Rock charts at the end of 2014, multiple artists in the Billboard year end charts – mainstream rock songs, hard rock albums and rock airplay songs and a Pollstar top grossing rock tour of 2014. Eleven Seven has doubled down and formed a new rock label – Better Noise.

Better Noise will be ESMG’s avenue for some exciting new rock artists and will be included in the group’s distribution deal with RED/Sony in the US, ADA the EU Sony in Australia, Southeast Asia and South America as well as Universal in Canada and Japan.

The world of rock music is familiar with Eleven Seven Music Group’s track record:

“More than ever our rock n roll community is in need of visionaries. Because in 2015 that is what it takes to win  Eleven Seven Music Group could easily rest on their many past (and current) successes but that’s not their style. They are forward thinking and back up their words with the hunger that it takes to succeed. As producers of Rock On The Range, Carolina Rebellion, Louder Than Life, Aftershock and others we know an Eleven Seven band is going to have the support and backing to give that band their very best shot.  That is important to us. We wish them the best of luck with the debut of Better Noise.”—Gary Spivack/Danny Wimmer of Rock House Presents

“In a world where labels are killing Rock with their paint by numbers songs and mediocre marketing approaches, Eleven Seven Music Group has shown that its progressive talent and intuition that actually build and re-build rock communities and careers,” – manager Rob McDermott (Mad Mac Entertainment).

“We chose to align with Eleven Seven Music Group in several territories because they are at the top of their game in rock music internationally. Their growth and addition of Better Noise to their associated labels creates a home where Apocalyptica will be highlighted and we couldn’t be happier to be their first release.” – manager Ulysses Huppauff, Odyssey Music Network

“It’s always welcome news to see new, exciting specialist rock labels launch but it’s a real head turner when someone of Allen Kovac’s drive and understanding of the music business aligns with rock n roll universe, especially in these times when others divest themselves of rock music interests altogether. Eleven Seven Music Group’s support of rock music on a worldwide scale reflects the same global vision as ours at TeamRock.” – Chris Ingraham, Publisher, Team Rock UK (Metal Hammer, Classic Rock)

“The music industry is largely scared and faltering, because many parts of it have been left behind by technology, or don’t have enough faith in their own abilities to adapt in the modern world. Allen Kovac has always been a leader – he knows the business and he spots the talent. His investment and judgement has resulted in amazing success for many. Whether your band is being nurtured from its early days, or re-built for a new era, Allen has repeatedly shown he can offer first class guidance and support.” – Ian Camfield, XFM (UK)

“The important moves made by savvy industry leaders like Allen Kovac will create opportunities for positive traction within Rock music in today’s music industry landscape. The creation of Better Noise among the Eleven Seven team will help to pave the road for better music making its way to more and more people, and show how Rock music can be a viable format and successful for both artists AND labels.” – Gregg Steele, VP Music Programming, SiriusXM
