Carnifex’s new album Slow Death has bowed in a big way. The record enjoyed quite a strong sales debut, including landing at number 95 on the Billboard Top 200; and the band wanted to thank its fans for that.
“In a time when record sales are at an all-time low, we have nearly doubled our first weeks sales,” said Carnifex. “We watched the buzz swell from the bottom up — it was a word-of-mouth campaign that put this record into unprecedented charting position. Thank you to all our fans for their diehard support! See you on the road.”
Carnifex are currently touring as part of Summer Slaughter. The band will return to the road in the fall, supporting Whitechapel and appearing at Knotfest. All tour dates can be found here.
