According to The Pulse Of Radio, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will take the ashes of two of their fans on the road with them this summer as the band tours North America. 21-year-old Corran “Coz” Powell and 18-year-old James Simmons were both killed in a car crash last December, but their families have crafted pieces of jewelry holding their remains that will accompany BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE as the Welsh act heads out on the road.

Powell‘s family made a piece of jewelry in the shape of a cog in recognition of his gaming hobby. His mother, Gennie Powell, told the Mirror, “We made a piece of stainless steel jewelry inspired by the Gears Of War game.”

The parents of Simmons created a similar item in the shape of a long gold cylinder, with both objects sent to the band’s management earlier this week after the band agreed to take part in the tribute.

Gennie Powell said, “It’s amazing this is happening. I can’t really describe how I feel about it. It’s a lovely gesture,” while Simmons‘ father, Mike Simmons, added, “Music really was Coz and James‘ life.”

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will join SLIPKNOT‘s “Summer’s Last Stand” tour later this year, along with LAMB OF GOD and MOTIONLESS IN WHITE. The trek kicks off on July 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida, wrapping up six weeks later on September 5 in Dallas.

The band’s fifth album, “Venom”, will arrive on August 14 and features the single “No Way Out”.
