BLACK STAR RIDERS: 'Cold War Love' Lyric Video

The official lyric video for the song “Cold War Love” from BLACK STAR RIDERS can be seen below. The track is taken from the band’s third studio album, “Heavy Fire”, which was released on February 3 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The disc was a worldwide success, reaching position No. 6 on the U.K. chart, No. 11 on the German chart, No. 91 on U.S. Current Top Albums chart.

Formed in 2012, BLACK STAR RIDERS signed their first contract with Nuclear Blast Entertainment in the same year. Under the banner of the independent label, the band released three critically acclaimed albums: “All Hell Breaks Loose”, “The Killer Instinct” and “Heavy Fire”.

2016 saw BLACK STAR RIDERS return to the studio with “The Killer Instinct” producer Nick Raskulinecz (RUSH, FOO FIGHTERS, KORN), at his studio just outside Nashville. The resultant album is BLACK STAR RIDERS‘ most accomplished work to date. From the immediate riffs of album opener “Heavy Fire” to the instant hooks of first single “When The Night Comes In”, from the dirty bass groove of “Thinking About You Could Get Me Killed” to the familiar and trademark dual guitars of Scott Gorham and Damon Johnson on “Testify Or Say Goodbye”, this is an album that will further cement BLACK STAR RIDERS‘ reputation as one of the world premiere rock acts.
