AXL ROSE To Discuss GUNS N’ ROSES On Jimmy Kimmel Live Next Tuesday

Axl Rose will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday next week to address the talk about the classic Guns N’ Roses lineup getting back together, reports RollingStone.com.

Multiple sources confirmed Rose’s Kimmel appearance to Rolling Stone, but declined to reveal the specific nature of his announcement or taping date. Rose previously appeared on Kimmel’s late-night show in 2012, which marked his first live interview in 20 years.

Rumors of the classic lineup’s reunion were sparked first when Slash told CBS This Morning in May of this year that the “tension … has dissipated” between Rose and him. “We don’t have all those issues anymore,” he said. “There’s not a lot of controversy. It’s something that’s more perpetuated by the media than anything.” In an interview with Sweden’s Aftonbladet in August, Slash admitted that he and Rose were able “to dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long.” However, Slash refused to comment on whether the thaw in his relationship with Rose would result in a GN’R reunion.

According to Billboard, Guns N’ Roses, with founding members Axl Rose and Slash, will headline the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA, set for April 15th-17th and April 22nd-24th 2016. The reunited band is also negotiating with promoters to play as many as 25 football stadiums in North America in the summer of 2016, and is scheduled to be one of the first acts to play the new Las Vegas Arena, set to open April 6th. Sources say Guns N’ Roses is said to be asking as much as $3 million per show, with tickets topping out in the $250-$275 range.

This past weekend, reports began circulating that fans who went to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens in cinemas were unexpectedly treated to a brief trailer featuring the Guns N’ Roses classic “Welcome To The Jungle” being played over black-and-white crowd footage prior to the biggest movie of the year.
